Description
As an adaptive trainer, some of our clients may have upper body physical impairments. These can be impairments that the client was born with, or that were caused later in life due to accident, disease, or disability. These impairments may stand alone or may be paired with other physical impairments or other disabilities.
In this course, you will not only learn about different types of upper body physical impairments and their characteristics, but also how they may impact your client. Most importantly, you will gain the knowledge to identify and apply specific exercises that can significantly improve their independence. This practical application of knowledge is key to your effectiveness as an adaptive trainer.
